All Natural Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin!!

Hi Guys!!

I just wanted to bring to your attention a good moisturizer that I've been using for over a year now. I have sensitive skin and it seems as I get older the more sensitive my skin becomes. I had a hard time finding a moisturizer that worked for my skin. I have combination skin, oily in the t-zone and dry on the cheeks and I'm prone to breakouts...not necessarily acne....but just breakouts...(I'm working on a remedy for that...fingers crossed) so I came across Melansol.

Melansol has been pretty good to me. They have an all natural, chemical free moisturizer as well as sunscreen. (I can not use sunscreen AT ALL. My face does not like it for whatever reason...I can't even use the one by Melansol...but it was the best option compared to other sunscreen I've tried)

The moisturizer is not expensive, $16.95 for a 6 oz bottle, and I'm still on the same bottle that I purchased in Jan. A little goes a long way...there's no expiration date, so you just use it til you run out. (I contacted the company to make sure it was still good to use and they said yes!) So I think its great because not only is it all natural, chemical free but its budget friendly, you only have to buy one bottle per year if you are just using it for your face!

If you are interested in purchasing then please visit http://www.puresunscreen.com/products.html and let me know how you like it!!

Brief Facts: MelanSol® 100% Natural Moisturizer: Your search for a 100% chemical free moisturizer is over. Our new moisturizer for face and body is both hydrating and protective, while using our revolutionary system of anti-aging antioxidants to control free radicals. Use it everyday to provide a powerful antioxidant foundation for makeup, at night to nourish and rejuvenate tired skin, after sun exposure to eliminate remaining free radicals, to soothe razor burned skin and more. Get more than one bottle because you'll  never want to be without it. One more thing, if you find someone with a sunburn, the natural antioxidants will help ease their misery.

Skeptical To Give To The Homeless?

Sometimes I'm skeptical...

I think it's because sometime I'm thinking what if they are addicts and they just want money for drugs or alcohol....but you know what...it's not my place to judge these people. My job is to bless those less fortunate whenever I can. What they do after I give them the money is not on me....it's not any of my concern. Now if there is a homeless person who openly and honestly admits that he will use the money to purchase drugs or alcohol then of course I'm not giving it to them...but if I don't know that's what it's going to be used for then it's not right for me to assume that all homeless people are addicts of some sort.

Yesterday I gave a homeless guy in my neighborhood a dollar and he used it to purchase a subway sandwich. He was a nice gentleman, and I've seen him a couple of times in the area. Always has a smile on his face. Today I'm on the train and this guy gets on and he's giving his story...I don't really make eye contact with him. The whole time I'm listening to him (he just happened to be standing right next to me) but I'm looking out the window. But I'm feeling an urge to give to him. So I give him $20. This is the most I've ever given to a homeless person, but I was like you know what...why not?

I called The Food Bank of NYC yesterday to find out if I can volunteer in their food pantry or soup kitchen on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. This will be my first time doing something like this so I'm extremely excited. I hope that they will allow me to...if not those days then of course I'll choose another day. The reason I chose The Food Bank is because the whole time I was unemployed I kept seeing them on TV. A lot of the reality type shows that I watched at the time were going to The Food Bank in their city and volunteering and I was like, I want to do that! So why not make that into a reality and the perfect time would be for Christmas!

I always tell God in my prayers everyday....Lord thank you for blessing me so that I may be a blessing to others! I know that my blessings are forever coming to me simply because I care enough to help those less fortunate than I and to give without expecting anything back from that person in return. This is just the beginning of what I plan to do to give back to my community. I honestly feel that I am put on this earth to do great things and to give back in more ways I ever thought possible. I am here to serve a purpose greater than myself!

AND I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!

Just thinking about all the ways that I intend to help and give back gets me very emotional and filled with joy and love!

SO if you feel it in your heart....GIVE!!! and keep giving because what you give you receive many times over!

Stay Blessed!

Happy Holidays!!!

My First Experience At The Apple Store!

Ok...my boss sent me on an errand today to the Apple Store....he needed a new firewire cable. I've never been in the Apple store so when I'm walking down the street I see this big glass square with the Apple symbol in the middle of it. I'm like..."is this the store?"

So I slow down because I see people walking up to this glass square and they enter and go down some stairs. I was like....wow this is cool! So I go down the stairs and there are mad people inside...and I locate a guy that works there. I tell him what I need, he finds it rather quickly, and I was like "ok, do I just stand here in line to check out?" He was like,  "Oh...no...I can check you out on this mobile phone if you are using a credit card."

For some reason a big behind smile came across my face and I said, "REALLY? Wow...that's interesting!! Yes I'm using a credit card....thanks!"

I was out in about 5 minutes....I don't know why that fascinated me...but I was just so tickled by this experience..and I wanted to share ha!!

Happy Hump Day!!

Stay Blessed!!

Embrace Your Struggle!

that's a line from Lyfe Jennings song, "It could've been worse"! (if you don't know about Lyfe Jennings, Google him....he's a great singer....If you are familiar with Lyfe cop his new album "I Still Believe"!! MAN....I listen to that album like 5 times a day!!)

When I say embrace your struggle...it just means....stop complaining about what you don't have, what you can't do, the problems in your life because you know what....it could be worse!

You have to focus on what you have! You have to focus on that fact that you are still alive! You may not be where you want to be but you are far from where you used to be! Give God the glory in spite of your circumstances! Remember how He brought you through the storm, remember that no matter what you are going through there's someone who's gone through it and made it through!

When I was unemployed at times I would complain that I had to go on interview after interview with no offers...but you know what...there were people unemployed just like me that was not getting ANY interviews at all. So I should've been grateful that I was getting noticed instead of complaining that I wasn't getting any offers. Those interviews were practice for my final interview (8 months later) with the job that I have now!

Learn to embrace your struggle and find the good in every situation. Know that every experience is a learning experience. You may not see it now but later you will recognize just how going through that exact situation prepared you to handle another situation!

All your hard earned money may go to paying your bills but bless those payments every time you send them out because guess what: You are Blessed to have the money to pay those bills! When you start Thanking God and Blessing your Payments then you will see how you prosper! Be grateful for all things and in everything!

You can get through anything, overcome any obstacle and defeat every enenmy. You know why: Because you are A CHILD OF GOD!! He has given you all that you need to be successful in life...just trust in Him to see you through, trust that He knows what's best and He will never forsake you.

Don't whine and complain....Philippians 2:14 "Do everything without grumbling or arguing"

Here's the prayer for today:

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for equipping me for success and victory in this life. Help me to clearly see the opportunities, connections and resources You have ordained for me. I trust that with You, all things are possible. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Cranberries Good For Gingivitis!

So I was looking at Doctor Oz the other day and he was talking about a good way to fight and/or prevent gingivitis and he mentioned that unsweetened cranberry juice and/or cranberry dental floss is great to use!

I've never heard of Cranberry Dental Floss but I just purchased some!
I got the Radius Anti-bacterial Cranberry Floss * All Natural * Waxed

I got mine from alice.com for $2.79!

Happy Flossing!!

**update: I tried the floss and I don't like that fact that it gets stuck between my teeth. It's suppose to be waxed to slide easy but not for me! so after I use up my 2 then I will just go with the unsweetened cranberry juice or with my aloe vera juice (most likely aloe vera since I already have that in the house and I could use it as a mouth rinse)

***Cranberry juice: cranberry juice is considered to keep the bacteria from sticking to the teeth and gums. So, drink cranberry juice without sugar. Also make sure you rinse your teeth with water to avoid as cranberry juice can stain the teeth

****Aloe vera. Aloe Vera is very beneficial in removing plaque and resolving the symptoms of Gingivitis.

Aloe vera can help in controlling the bleeding due to gingivitis. You can either rub aloe vera pulp over your gums or drink aloe vera juice
